After working about 4 years with the BUILD
editor, I recently got a new PC, and installed BUILD on it, everything works, except for the streching feature;
When I want to fit a tile so it fits on something (like a door) and I press the stretch keys (2,4,6,8) it stretches the tile
WAY too fast, when I hold down the '2' button
on my keyboard for about 00000.5 sec it
had stretched the tile to the max, so there's
no way to get it fitting like I want.
I tried changing some keyboard options
in my Config but I doesnt change anything..
Somebody got an idea?
BTW I got a PIII-800 PC with 128MB RAM,
everything works FINE except this..
Oh and Moslo doesnt work either. (If that
could have worked at all)
I want to finish my SW maps and returning to my old PC just to edit maps isnt quite an
option..

Press the "/" key in 3D mode to reset the textures scaling.

I know that. But the problem isnt getting it
'unstretched' again but to make it strech slower. Thanks anyway images/icons/wink.gif

With Mapster you can precisely control map elements.

I was looking for that program. Where can I find it?

Check his sig.

I find if you crank up the res it will slow down control responses too.

If it's not the Duke map format then no - it won't ever.

Here is something that might help you if you can't stretch the til to whatever you want.

Go to the build setup, and change the resolution under 'graphics mode' and change it to a higher resolution. The hight it goes, the slower the tiles should stretch. Just make sure the entire build doesn't run slow though. images/icons/smile.gif

I'll give that a try..thankz

-EDIT- YES!!!!!!! It worked! I changed the
res to something like 1200x720 and apart
from looking super hi-res it slowed down
the stretching! Thanks a TON man! images/icons/wink.gif
