Please - someone help me

I am building a level, but I wanted to use a particular effect. I just don't know how to do it. What I wanted is to be able to step on a touchplate and make some other sectors go dark because of it (eg like making lights go out.) 3Drealms used it in one of their levels and I tried doing it, but without luck.

Could someone please give me detailed instructions in telling me how to do it??? I would be really greatful.

I think this works only with a switch, for some reason touchplates do not tricker that effect.

Hi piano_man,

You can use SE8's to switch the lights off.
Here's a map I made (http://www.geocities.com/mrnutwrench_2000/liteoff.zip) that shows how to do this with a Touchplate. (You may need to right-click and choose "Save as" to get the file.)
