hi

i want to know why is needed to set the palette 3 in a ceiling with BIGORBIT1. why this texture kills duke if not? i don't understand this, because isn't used in the game.

Because the original design had spacesuits.

That was dropped before the game was released, but some of options are still in parts of the game.

I added some new art (a poster) into one of the blank spots near the sky textures, and if Duke came near it (if it was a sprite) it would kill him.

Dunno if it was related to bigorbit in anyway, but it just seemed wierd.

That wouldn't be too hard.
You could do it your self.
The only real prob would be if you wanned the gravity to be lowered.

Re-enable what? Spacesuits? Unfortunately, the code is not there; it was never finished.

It may have been ripped out, or (more likely) never finished in the first place.

You can change 'space' to be non-killing now by directly modifying the sector parameters (say, when Duke picks up a space suit actor). Care would need to be taken for multiplayer..
