Max Payne 1 Mods ?

Can anyone help me out. I cant get develeper back on my shortcut. Did you put the mp2m`s in the max2 folder? If so click in the shortcut , and were says choose customized game browse to your mods. About the developer mode if you can´t put it on that shurtcut, delete it and put a new one, remember that you need to have a space between the exe" and the -developer, like this MaxPayne2.exe" -developer. I hope that i helped.

What is odd is when the window for game play comes up the custom game box is inactive [grayed out] can it be my 3D card is not set up right to open these mods I have a Radeon 7000 ? and the mods are just sitting in my saved games folder just waiting to come out and play http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

place them in your maxpayne folder where the maxpayne.exe is.

Ok I tryed to drag from my MP folder to the shortcut folder. And got this http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gifException in engine; Unable to load save game. Does not exist or invalid saved game.

you have to drag the files from the mod into the main max payne folder

not the maxpayne.exe into another folder

no, you have to put them in the game directory.
then you start the game by using your desktop shortcut, and when the options window pops up, you can chose your mods in the drop down menu.

make like this, if necessary in a new instalation.


Unzip the mod, and copy the "modname.mpm" file for your MaxPayne directory like this:


C:\Programes\Max Payne

If the mod have a movie you put them in the movies folder all other file is in the main directory that is the Max Payne one.

them you click in your maxpayne shortcut and pic the mod.
