Im makeing a high res pack for my WGRealms episode!!!
But I nead 3dmodle trees like the ones in the episode.
ANyways screens. been working on this only 2 days so far :P

Anather comparison shot.
Only complaint from me is the detail in the groud disapears from a short distance.

did you try to increase the anisotropic filtering level? that should make the "blur" distance higher

could you... (for effect) post a screenshot of that sky, but with bigger heavyer darkbrown clouds, similair to the effect of the old one.

the water is really blue! Something you'd expect to see in the caribean on a sunshiny day.

Just thought I would pop into my topic again :P
Well everything on this page is kinda old, im still working on the highres pack for WGR, latest shots can be found on m site.
Although there have been a few more bits added here and there so maybe ill post some more screens later.
ATM the idea is that this should work with the duke3d highres packs so you can add all the 3d modle weapons enimies n sutch after its installed or the other way around.
I Havent worked out how to modle or gotten anyone to modle for me :P Some 3dmole trees/plants would be wonderfull, maybe That can be anather add on after the texture pack is complete.
Anyways Is it ok to use a few of the highres pack textures in it? Level1 used some of the origional textures so they would be needed, of cause I would add credits and im not makeing money out of this or something.

+ I just made some changes and make some new things like loading screen and opening screen
I also removed all of the stuff that replaces the orgional textures, So otherwords this highres pack is going to require the duk3d Highres pack

Question though William,
Will you be re-designing parts of your maps, by adding in more sectors to give it a more detailed look, or are you only preparing it for Hi-Res textures?

Im acuraly thinking more on the line of 3 new levels added 2 normal and 1 secret
1 fully Hightech
1 snowy ruin landscape - already started
1 Hightech mixed with temple stuff.

Hi,
I've installed the pack, added the .grp from original Duke, tried to launch the game with high-res pack (*with* command options required) and got "Failed to load TABLES.DAT". What I'm doing wrong?

I for one have no idea, but if it can't find tables.dat why don't you.. add tables.dat? You can find it on your duke cd.

nice screens, but I think the water and sand textures should be redone. It would look great.
