How big is your hard drive and how much ram do you have?

What happens when you boot into Safe Mode?
How much RAM do you have?
How much free hard drive space do you have?
Your page file should be on the same partition that you boot from and it should be at least as large as the amount of RAM you have (in my opinion)
By "cleanup," I assume you mean both Scandisk(Chkdsk) and Defrag?

The page file doesn't need to be on the same partition as your boot partition, although it will be by default on most installs depending on the options you choose. If you have multiple physical disks, it's actually recommended that you put the page file on a separate one for performance.
The page file error the original poster is getting likely has more to do with how his machine is shutting down than it does with the RAM or disk in his machine. It is an error message you'll get when your machine isn't shutting down cleanly. Check the System event log in Control Panel and I'll bet you'll see an error indicating that Windows shut down unexpectedly. Look for other errors in both the System and Application logs for clues as to what is causing it to happen.

I used to have 64 megs on this thing. AND WIN2k WORKED FINE!!! I installed new ram on Firday and it worked fine. Saturday it worked fine. Satirday night however me and my freind were going through our computers cleaning out crap. Like actually crap. Anyways so I defraged it like a billion times because 2k's defragmentor did a bad job. After I rebooted....
Ehh......
Then all hell broke loose.

That "20 megabytes currently allocated" seems awfully low. Seems to me like it should be more like 200-300 megs.
(I have just over 1.5 gigabytes of page file on my computer.)

What does the error look like . . . . exactly?
Is it a blue screen type error or is it in a pop-up window?
Can the computer finish booting?
If it can, does it keep working normally until you reboot?
Does the computer boot without the error in Safe Mode?

I've seen this error before. And 20MB is always the value it gives.
Problem is, it was at school, and I didn't see how the guys fixed it. They might've reinstalled Windows.
As for the "130,000K RAM" thing, that's fine. 2000 likes to put RAM in kilobytes. Nothing is wrong.
My paging file is set to 768 MB minimum and maximum (I've got 1 GB of RAM), because there was a problem with it shutting down. It works fine now.

I'm the only user on that machine http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I have 110% Percent control!
Anyways ghow bout I reinstall Windows.
Oh NutWrench!
Windows works fine its just a log on error. I can play Quake 2 although it runs a little laggy.
I think I should reinstall Win2k.

You're not. There's a bunch of system accounts that you can't log into.
Follow the advice from there.

Nope.
I've decided to reintsall Windows. Its kinda weiord becuase I DID have 100% access to the computer. Hell I'm the only user on it. So it appears to be something. I just hope formatting and reinstalling works. What would caue this in the first place?

Did you read my post? Yours is NOT the only one on the computer. The page file is handled by a hidden account that you can't log in to.

All gone! I sent everything to hell! Now I reinstalled Win2k and it works. Whats this secret account? How do I get %100 control?

Probably 'Administrator' If Win2K is anything like XP, you'll only see that account if you boot the computer in Safe Mode.

The OS uses the "SYSTEM" account.
If using the NTFS filesystem, crashes or other problems can occasionally cause the SYSTEM account to lose access to a file. If you can log on as an administrator, this can be fixed.
I haven't seen this in a long time, but the thing that has tipped me off to it in the past is files that can't be defragmented.
