Hello there!
If you reading this I just wanted to tell you, that you have made a magnificent job creating Max Payne games.
I don’t feel to get into many details or flatter endlessly but Max Payne 2 is an amazing game.
Usually I don’t play again /finish games for a second time because I don’t feel they are worth it and they don’t give me something.
I have played MANY games from all the genres through my gaming service all those years and very few are the games that find the way to my hd for a second time not to mention a third one.
I don’t want to mention names (except Metroid Prime1 /ngc which was another surprise) but Max Payne was sure worth the time to finish it 6 times.
The most thrilling reason for this is the story. It really HAS a story and a good one too. Not an excuse but a real story presented in a very nice way, with great atmosphere that tie wonderfully into the action. A story that you feel it, gets you deep inside it from the moment you open the box, listen to the theme in menu to the moment that you finish the game.
Having a game with a good story (not a super intelligent – Sherlock Holmes style) that the gameplay is really based on it, respect it and follow it is something I don’t see every day. Another reminder was ‘The Dig’ an old adventure game.
And despite the fact that in my hd roam some very new and addictive games I still have that itch to install for another time Max Payne.
Max Payne is like a good old movie. You know all the little details but you still want to see it for once more.
