Annoying problem...

if you look at the picture i have attached, folder 1 has that set of options and folder 2 has another....how can i make folder 2 have the same ways to arrange files as folder 1? its really winding me up

from what i know it sets it like the 2nd if it detects mp3s in the folder

In Windows Explorer you can set options for a folder under Tools - Folder Options.

You can even apply them to all folders.
Works in 95 percent of all cases OK.

For the other 5 percent, if you open a folder in the left pane of explorer, and then right click in the right pane, you can choose Customize this folder.
Here you can set how the folder should behave also.
