"C:\Documents and Settings\Vihermaali\Local Settings\Temp is full, please select another location"
That's the message what I get when temp files reach 5Gb, when I select another location, it just asks the same question again....is there a way to fix it? There still is 6Gb free space..
clean out your temp folder using disk cleanup.
get more space through uninstalling or getting a new hard drive (and maybe defraging).
don't download 5gig files in the first place.
There's a great program that I use called Find Junk Files 3.0, which, when configured properly, can clean out your system real good. My brother said his system was a bit sluggish. I ran that program, and it works like a breeze. Not only will you gain disk space, but your computer will be faster too. Even on his fast Athlon 64 3000+ system, stuff ran a lot faster. You'd instruct it to clean out that temp folder, as well as many other ones. Do so with caution, because you don't want to be deleting system files. That's where it pays to know what files are system, and which are non-system (msvcrt.dll vs. funny.avi for example, with msvcrt.dll as the system file).

Uh, why do you have 5GB in your temp directory?
Just delete the stuff. Then you won't get the error again.

I was making backup-packages of my files with WinAce, to fit better on dvd.
Anyway, I still had 6Gb free on HD, so free space shouldn't be any problem! Is there some kind of limiter in temp?
After the temp went full, WinAce stopped packing, and resulting file was a ~4,1Gb broken ace-file. (on 1 dvd-rw I have you can put 4,5Gb stuff)
Yeah, I can always put my stuff into smaller pieces, but still a funny problem.

Rar v3 compresses better than Ace, IIRC. You might see if you have better luck with WinRar. Also, if you're using a shitty FAT32 filesystem for some reason, the maximum filesize is 4096 MB.
