Mainly American, yes. It portrays the American "Old West" a lot, IIRC.

Nickelodeon used to show it a lot, back when they had good shows.

sorry to nitpick , but TA is puppetering , which existed wy longer than stopmotion....

nightmare before christmas is stop motion though ... and wallece and gromit.


i personaly dont know gumby , but the sesame street had some of those claymations , and i love them .... ALL
just for the sheer way they move...
there are a couple of cheznian child series which have alot of claymation , mainly because they were about "strange things morphing", belonging to some child ...

these where the good days before cgi , where one hadnt to bother about lighning and shading (although the normal lightning demands for REAL acting movies apply)

claymation owns drawing almost to a degree which isnt funny , mainly because there is "depth" to it (and i dont mean CONTENTWISE but perspective wise)

TA is a GREAT movie , at least for the reason doing something that the makers of thunderbidrs "the movie" didnt have the ballz to do...

Why does it suck.... BECAUSE I'M A LIBERAL!!!!! Actually I don't even live in America... So I don't support either side.

The reason I hate it and think it isn't funny is because there is nothing funny to laugh at... It's not stupid in the way that you find funny.... It's just plain stupid.
