Found out today that my band gets to play in a local festival, Riverfest (Alexandria, LA.). It takes place in our downtown riverfront amplitheatre, which I hear holds about 2000 people. Not sure if 2000 people will be there or not. Anyways, we get to open for Marc Broussard and Wayne Toups. Wayne Toups is a Louisiana legend, and has been around for years. Marc Broussard is from Louisiana as well, and is currently gaining a lot of popularity (He just recently played on Conan O'Brien and Good Morning America, I think the single he has out is called "Home"). So wish us luck guys, I'm sorta nervous lol.

P.S.
Should have the mixed versions of the 2 songs up on purevolume soon. What's on there now is just the rough cut. I'll also add 2 new songs.

Thousands of people - watching you. Judging you. Waiting for a single mistake. There will be no patience and no mercy. Remember, this could become a disaster any given second. Just one mistake...

Have fun.

LOL!
People who don't make mistakes, don't do anything. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Go out there and enjoy yourselves, chances are that that will come through. Fear of failure is probably one of the most useless states to get into, so don't go there http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Good luck.

Saturday night we played a smaller festival, and it was friggin' awesome! We played well, sounded great, and the crowd loved us (We headlined a smaller band festival for a sorority, who was doing a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network). They even asked for an encore (which ended up being some sort of "play that funky music" version, something for the girls to dance to). We only played one cover, and all of our other originals went over great. This isn't our first gig by any means, but i think this smaller festival was great preparation for the big one coming up. Let's hope that one doesn't suck. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey guys,

Posted some new pics and a new song on the purevolume site. Check the link in the sig. Also, these songs are a newer, mixed version. But, we still have some more mixing, mastering, and vocal work to do. Hope you like em.

If I'm ever in Alexandria (I'm from Thibodaux and go to Natchitoches sometimes) I'll try to catch a show if you're playing. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
