I have a VisionPlus DVB-Terrestrial Card, in my 2.6Ghtz, 512Mb RAM with ATI X800 Pro....

When I use VisionDTV (the program) to record HDTV, It saves it as an MPEG2 File with AC3 audio. I can use Virtual Dub Mod to extract the AC3 audio and turn it into WAV.

I have 2 questions...

1) I can use TMPG Encoder to combine the WAV audio and the Video together, but when I try to turn it into HD MPEG stream (after editing out the commercials) I set it to it's native resolution (usually 1920x1088 or 1440x1088) but it tells me that the window size is not accepted by the selected MPEG2 Level. Any ideas what this means and what Window Size is accepted???

or...

2) Is there any programs out there that you can just open the HD MPEG2 and edit it by Cutting parts out of it and being able to keep it's original size and quality??? I've seen programs like it for MPEG1, just none for MPEG2.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One last thing - every 15 seconds or so, the video will go a little corrupt for a second or two when I'm recording??? Is there anything I can do to try and keep the quality at 100% as I possibly can??? Any way to stop these little glitches from happening? Any steps I can take to increase the quality??? Absolutely anything???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anyone have any help thats a bit more specific. (I'l try the site as well... I'm just looking to see if there are any obvious answers first, then look at the more specific - like in the web-site).
