while i aproove of this topic being introduced to the series, why not just letting old characters as they are ...

invent new ones , and if its absolutely nescasairy , make the cookiemonster a bit less healthy than his colleges..

i think they had an episode concerning the "taz's" eatinghabits on tinytoons ... that one worked ok ..

im so glad that the things of MY childhood are comming out on dvds one by one ..

though i still miss a complete muppet show dvd set!
and a fraggle one thats not french , preveribly german (because they had a different actor , and im used to THAT old guy ...)

but , at least "the augsburger puppenkiste" is releasing everything bit by bit on dvd \°/
(fyi a quite famous marionette theatre which also produced quite a few television productions , mostly from childbooks with quiete a different attitude , one being a story of a cat "squatting " a vila , and surounding itselff with very strange "special" other animals , eg a young boar playing the piano (horribly , i might add http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

In Australia, they stopped screening junk food commercials during afternoon tv programs to try and stop child obesity. Actually... I was thinking what someone said above... Ernie and Berta... new episode of S-Street, Bert gets that operation so (s)he can finally be who (s)he's always felt (s)he was... also in the show, Ernie learns responsibilty for caring for a real duck, as well as, he defends his friend Berta when people try to pick on her....

Still, it is shocking that about 1 in 3 American Kids is overweight, as opposed to 1 in 25 in the U.K.

Also, I grew up watching <font color="blue"> Cookie </font>Monster, and his cookie gorging never compelled me to do the same, though, I used to stuff my face with, mmm <font color="orange"> Jaffa cakes </font> from time to time....
