Ok, am leaving my JDuke server on DukesterX. See if you can find me. It's called "Edinburgh UK".
tbh, I don't think Dukester works properly world-wide...

Come guys. I want to test this DukesterX feature "Allow players to join while in-game server" option. I want to see if it works.

HRm, I didnt know you could join the game like that.. Interesting. Although it prolly means join the server and wait for the game to finish for round 2.. I'll download Dx again real quick and give it a try for yah tho.

No dice. It gives me connection times out when I attempt to join your game.

Yeah, I need to know about this. It probably because of my flatmates firewall/router settings.
I guess I need to tell my flatmate to open port 23513 (default Duke3D port)?
Ok, it's open now. Try again and let me know how it went. If you do get in, just send a message and leave it just to let us know people can connect, etc. If am around when you are joined then yay! I think you can also leave yourself connected to the server as well.
I guess we need to play and test out JonoF's new net code, and also DukesterX (make sure you have DukesterX 1.5.1). Then we can tell them suggestions/ideas for improvements.

You'll also need port 8501 opening, this is the port DX listens on. 23513 by default is what JFDuke will use.

Cheers for letting me know. Somehow for me to keep JonoFDuke and Duke_w32 (RancidMeat) up, I had to use DukesterX port 8502 for one of them. Would this matter? Does this affect my clients joining?
