32" LCD-TV on a PC.
This is a TV I bought for my brother. He'll be using it for TV/DVD only, but I had to try it in a PC. It has a 1366x768 resolution. It worked wonders on World of Warcraft http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif this is the way is REALLY meant to be played.
Ah, and IT IS 32", the notebook is a 17" one, that's why it appears so big and the TV so small.

Is it just the angle, or are the colors that much different between the two?

And the LCD I mentioned is 2560x1600, so, I guess I'll call winner. Then again, I can't see WoW (either PC or Mac version) running too well at that res. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Is not the angle. As I said, is a TV, so the brighness (1200cd) and the contrast ratio (500:1) is lots better than the notebook's TFT, also the color temperature is warmer in the TV (altought is selectable, but some games run better this way)

i still prefer CRTs as far as image quality goes. LCDs have some bit to go before they will equal them for colour accuracy.

I couldn't disagree more. I thought that when I picked up my TFT but when I ran the two in duel screen mode for a week I changed my mind fast.

Even the best CRT is a blurry mess next to a good tft

The only downside to a TFT is the native resolution
stuff.

Oh and cost of course

Well I meant colour accuracy as well http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I should have stated that.

But on all accounts the TFT beat the pants off the CRT.
