Is there a build editor or a convertor for version 4 of the levels? Legend of the Seven Paladins uses version 4.

Or should I ask Ken Silverman?

JonoF's Games Site: Rock'n Shaolin: Legend of the Seven Paladins (http://jonof.edgenetwk.com/build/l7p.php)

That Seven Paladins demo sucked IMO. A sort of crap Shadow Warrior. If you want to rip the textures/sounds off - have you tried kextract on the GRP file? I can't exactly remember how they packaged the demo, and it doesn't appear to be available online anymore.

Two files are just Tiles000.art files with another name. So rename them and you can look at them in Editart.

The two other .DAT files are very simple. They aren't GRP files. At the top of the files there are some long numbers(4 bytes) which are the offset to the files. The names and the lengths of the files aren't in there.

But this doesn't answer my question. I think I just as Ken Silverman.

That's only for 5 to 6, 6 to 7. And back from 7 to 6, 6 to 5.

I made an extracter for Legend of the Seven Paladins. Look at http://www.student.tue.nl/u/a.f.smeijers/sfp

If it's that important to you, you can probably just email Ken and ask for the older convmap programs. He's always pretty helpful. Of course, he might not have them anymore.

I just got a reply from Ken Silverman. He gave me the source code for convmap5. But it won't compile, because I use a too old compiler, I think.
