Don't really call myself a fan, but their self-titled album was pretty good. Especially "Devour".

But when it comes to Evil Dead - I am a fan http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

EDIT: Gah! Can't play it since I need a newer version of RealPlayer. 9 MB on a 56k modem http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

EDIT 2: Just watched half of it (56k sucks). That was awesome. Will watch the whole thing at a friends house later http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Heh, yeah...it was pretty cool. But I think that Devin Townsend is really starting to repeat himself.

I would say I'm a fan, I own Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing, City, No Sleep 'Till Bedtime, and some of Devin Townsend's side projects.

Devin Townsend is a god amongst metal, but that particular song didn't really do anything for me.

I apologize for hijacking this thread with that silly comment. I will check out the band, as punishment.

That's harsh dude, the truth in your statement isn't there, but whatever you have to do to feel better http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif (though I laughed about it, I don't know if she would though).

I'm really upset with the music scene as of late... It's all commercial, and anyone indie or trying to be original is trying to garner corporate success... If Jefferson Airplane has ever taught us anything, it is the fact that you do not change your name to keep up with the current trend of aviation and do not record a song that is an ode to corporate label music...

I wished that instead of the money, play for the music. Success should not be measured in terms of money, unless your Gene Simmons.

i was kidding to both of you, stop making me feel bad http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BTW, listen to real metal, pay no attention to radio http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I stopped paying attention to the radio 5 years ago. If I listen to the radio I find something that plays classic rock. It's the only safe bet these days.

I had sorta crappy sound on that, did anyone else get that?

Anywho, regarding the song... It's ok, I've heard worse (a LOT worse) but it's not great either... sounds kinda repetetive to me

Sorry but this sucks a big fat ass with muddy pubes and all http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Call me picky but I like melody, rhythm, well executed instruments and vocals when I listen to a band...
