Since a lot of people appear to have severe problems getting MP to get past the loading... screen, I suggest we all buy the Playstation2 along with the PS2 version of MP! That way we all know it will work without any problems whatsoever. Anyway, I am getting myself a PS2 for christmas.

Happy holidays, everyone.

If you have a PS2 - then yes, go ahead.

However, there's one issue that the PS2/Xbox versions won't be able to deal with - addons.

Games on consoles are usually not as good than those on PC. Most games on Consoles are fun but you can't get patches, mods, or hack the game. Wait did I say that out loud?

Why are you getting a PS2 anyway? Consider the other options too. Just don't take a leap into it unless you are sure. You can't get Rouge Leader, Mario,Zelda, Munch (or whatever), DOA3, or any other games not available on PS2. But you get Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy.

One question about FF. Why do people still buy remake after remake of the same old, stale game? Gameplay never changes, just the graphics and story.

I bought GameCube cause is like the games better. And because MGS2 will probably be released on PC like they did MGS1(loved that game). One last reason is because PS has too many sports games. I hate sports games almost as much as FF.

Or, you can download an emulator off the Internet that lets you play PS2 games on PC, optimized for higher monitor resolution and video cards, keyboard, mouse, etc. Myself and several of my friends have them. But you'll need a DVD-ROM drive for it to work.

Oh yeah forgot about breakin the law. Still cant get patches or addons though but you can hack. I found Sonic the Hedgehog with Mario characters online once. Nothing lke seeing Toad doing a spin boost. images/icons/grin.gif

Emulators Rule.

Just don't get caught.

How would you get caught? I would only do SP, if that helps.

The entire fps genre belongs to the PC. Third person games with fps gameplay (max payne) belong to the PC.
Why anyone would want to play max payne with a console controller, or how that would even be possible, blows my mind.
