some innocent dude happens to get a ticket for "Revenge of the Sith" opening night and by chance
sits next to one of the geeks who's been camped out in line for 3 months?
I would think the smell would be anything but pleasant?
Being serious here!
The #1 movie going rule should be "Thou shall shower before attending a movie".

Dunno man. It's the same thing with people who have bad breath. They may be breathing you right in the face, but you can't really do or say anything about it, unless you want to cause a scene. And, well, if the dude has camped for 3 months, I’d say he is worthy of seeing the movie – even if he smells bad http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
You have attributed places in theaters?! Well if they are by choice..just change place..

I don't think thats the point Ivan. I think that what Kaiser is trying to say is that people should be more considerate and respectful of each other. And whenever you attent a public place it should be considered common curtesy to at least smell appropriate and treat people how you want to be treated yourself.
As for star wars geeks I think for them it should slide this one time considering that they spent so much time in line to just see a movie.

They should have a hygene policy for most public places. Then normal people could go to see sci fi movies in peace.

I prefer to watch most movies in my own home, so I don't have to listen to 400 cell phones going off in unison, babies crying, or some dumbass opening up some pizza wrapped up in tinfoil.

I prefer to wait about 2 weeks to see a movie that I believe is worth seeing in the theater, or otherwise don't want to wait for. Then I can go in on the weekend and have it pretty much empty. Though managing to get in on a weekday is a good method too.
