Just spotted this thought some of you might like to look. Looks awesome. Pity it'll probably cost about $5000 http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Not just the exchange rate, but there's also the exporting rate...plus, JT bought his at a shop, where there's a lot of markup compared to places like Newegg. (He doesn't have a credit card.)

Oh. He said that he built it, which I assumed meant that he actually bought the parts and then assembled it. I wasn't aware that he paid some <strike>underqualified monkey</strike> highly trained professional to put it together and charge an extra 35% on top of what everything would normally cost. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Whatever, it's a pretty good system. I certainly wouldn't pay that much for it (and I certainly wouldn't go with that choice of video card, but that's another matter entirely) but if he's happy with it and feels he got what he paid for, that's all that really matters.
