Probably bullshit. If it's not the real thing, the Xbox 360 (and next gen. games in general) can probably even look better then.

The question is if these are pre-rendered cutscenes or are they using the game engine. If it's the game engine it's impressive. If it's pre-rendered it's not very exciting.

it's not hard to believe that the next gen consoles will be able to push far more polygons and have almost a pre-rendered look. i just watched the video and it didn't impress me much at all.

They don't show any actual gameplay. Just the crap before and after the gameplay. Is there any actual gameplay in these games, or are they just a collection of pretty cutscenes?

I saw that on ESPN during the NFL Draft. Watched it a few times on my TiVo.

If that's in game, then holy shit, is that impressive.

However, there's a theory I read online that it's the opening cinematic - not actual in game play. We shall see.

I reckon it's pre-rendered. It wouldn't be the first time a publisher tried to pass off a pre-rendered movie as actual in-game footage.

It's all CG, and artist's impession. However, in an interview where EA talks about this, they also claim that the actual game will be even higher quality. However, I find that claim extremely suspect.

Well, the CG looks pretty stylised to me, and not terrible naturalistic. I can see them creating something that looks more real, even if the polygon count and texture resolution aren't a big step up.

There is some horrible animation in that. Aside from that the graphical level is around what we'd want for next gen although the graphical focuss is wrong for an american pigskin game and I would serverly doubt the actual game spending so much time at low level, looking inside people helmets, etc
