Need Build 1.4

the screen flickers and quits (its not windows) i think i need an updated build for atomic like build 1.4 know how i can get it anebody

Did you run the Build setup utility (BSETUP)? This program lets you pick a screen resolution and creates the configuration file Build needs to start up properly. You should pick the VESA 800x600 setting.

And is Build in the *same* directory as the Duke Nukem game? It should be.

Well Sinister.. I'm sure there are some changes cause there really is this BUILD 1.4 and it's a little different.. I can't just point you to a link here APPLE cause I think that's illegal.

And now a question for you:
How did you get Atomic? Problably illegal because the BUILD is on the Atomic Cd (I mean.. the BUILD 1.4 is on there).. BUSTED :-)

I've noticed that the 1.3D Build crashes when tries to load high-number textures, I mean, Duke 1.3D includes tiles000-014.art, and the Atomic Edition includes tiles000-019.art, so the 1.3D Build cannot load textures that are in tiles015-019 and then crashes.

The updated Build that's on the PPack/Atomic CD's is newer than the one on the 1.3d CD, but it's mostly in the area of being able to use the other textures that are in the Atomic version that aren't in the 1.3d version.

Legally you can't get that without getting the Atomic version (as we've stopped selling the PPack now).
