It lacks the style of the Burton movies, but it looks a hell of a lot better then the shitty movies that Joel Schumacher made. It might be cool.

Of course it doesn't have the Burton style. It isn't being made by Burton. Christopher Nolan's directing style is nothing like Burton's so I wasn't expecting the same. In any case, Nolan is a good director and I think this does look pretty awesome. I also always thought Christian Bale has had talent. He just hasn't had too much of a chance to show it.

So far: I am very impressed with the cast, and I am looking forward to seeing it in theatre. I hope it can make up for those other peices of junk that got released under the Batman name. I also hope this revives the series as much as they want it to. This could be the start (restart rather) of something awesome.
