I've made them before, but who ever visits them? Not like anyone in the world cares about Jeff Thomson anyways. Mostly people search for porn and information on things they need (oh, excuse me...want), not some guy named Joe.

Did this one (http://members.shaw.ca/jeffthomson2004/personal/bio.htm) up in about 3 minutes. It's a start, but I don't know what else I could put on there.

My personal sites used to be pretty informative, but I've slimmed them down. I had all the information up because I could then point people with questions, to my site, instead of having to answer them all the time.

I decided to slim it down becaus my personal site was really nothing more than a glorified, eye-candied bio. I since have merged my personal site with my articles and interviews site, but haven't had time or motivation to get it up again.

Add a Main Page with a Menu. Some options would be: Myself, Blog (That could be on the main page), Pictures, My DVD Collection, My Projects, Admin Area, Contact Me, Feedback, Shout out box, Guestbook, link to other sites (porn if needed).

That doesn't guarantee you people will visit it though, you gotta find a solid gold idea so you attract people. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tinyted.gif

Persuming you can store enough porn.

I have my blog, which gets its fair share of visitors. So I'm happy. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hmm, a blog. To share my hatred of customer service, and my yearning for authority. I could put that into a page or two. Except for the customer service. One guy's blog got read, and he got fired from his job, because of it.

Yeah, that seems to be happening alot now.

The easiest way is to replace names and companies with Mr. X and Ms. Y, all working for the crap corporation of Microso... I mean Company Z... http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Or say, I work for a company which I hate, but I'm not at liberty to say who I am or where I work. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah, I guess the only safe way to avoid your blog getting you into trouble is to never write about a company until you have been fired\quit from said company.

I think its important you never give your future employers a link to your blog, as it gives them the advantage of seeing how your mind works before they employ you. Not to mention that if you bitch about a company, future employers may be a little worried that you'll be doing the same thing again when they fire you because they discovered the blog post where you admit to molestering small farm yard animals. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mryuck.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Well I have one but I don't really put personal stuff on there, might have some smaller section later though.

http://www.bee-digital.com if anyone is interested. And it's there for portfolio reasons obviously http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I like the company I work for, just not the job. Still, I'd never write about them on a blog somewhere.
