I think people are blowing things way out of proportion with this movie. I don't think it is nearly as bad looking as a lot of people here make it out to be. I mean hey, atleast Uwe Boll or Paul Anderson isn't linked to this. Also I've heard so many different things saying that the stuff about hell isn't true, and that it is true. I don't even know anymore.

Just wait till the goddamned movie comes out. Set pictures never look as good as the final movie because there is always extra filters added to scenes to pretty them up.

I don't care if the movie doesn't take place on mars. That is not a big deal. Id has even said that the movie just takes place in the same universe as Doom. This doesn't make much sense to me since the planet they are on is unnamed. I don't much like the idea of them being on an unnamed planet, but nothing tooo big to me.

Last I heard there are references to hell (not saying you didn't say there would be), just saying what I heard. You are right about the no demons and I do agree with you: No demons is a bummer to me, but I'm still interested in it. That and seeing what kind of monsters will be in it.

When making something into film you have to change a lot of things. Also, what is the point of making the movie if the story is going to be exactley the same as Doom3? I wouldn't care to see it then. It would be boring following around an unnamed marine that doesn't talk, has no personality, and just shoots shit. They needed actual characters and an actual main character that talks and has emotion.

All I want is for the movie to be enjoyable and to be scary. That is going to be hard, because it is really hard for a movie to actually scare me.

Of course, this is all just my thoughts. If you aren't looking forward to it, then I respect that opinion.

They should make a Doom Hell on Earth movie. That would kick so much ass having the movie take place on a hell-torn Earth with industrial cities rotting of cocadeamons, revenants, archviles, etc., with cracks in the Earth leading to Hell.
