I was just scrolling through Borg Nukem's art files searching for something that has to be finished. Then I found out everything is already done or being done.. EXCEPT for one thing.. the player art.
20 frames of it are already done but the rest still has to be done. So if someone can finish this (yeah pixel by pixel work images/icons/smile.gif ) please contact me at kevincools@hotmail.com.
Of course if someone can model a whole new shaped creature with Duke's head on it images/icons/smile.gif that's cool too.

For more info.. go to http://borgn.totalconversions.com.

If someone can help me out with this I'm sure Bn will be done in just a (few) month(s). So please.. it's just ONE job of like 70 frames.

70 frames of work drawing pixel by pixel to modify Duke's art isn't exactly something anyone with any sense would want to do.

Well someone who could do it in an other way is also very much appreciated..

Kef,i'll gladly edit Duke's frames of animaion, but i need you to isolate all of the frames, and have them in a bmp, or gif fomat so i can edit them. And also tell me what you want duke to look like. images/icons/wink.gif I'm an Alright artist, i'll send you a sample of 1 of Duke's animation, and tell me if i'm needed.

I can draw with pencil and paper, but I suck at Editart.

I'm in the same need as you, Kef. There are only two people fer the group I created, and we're both mappers/conners.

Roger.. when I started to work on Bn I couldn't find help too so I learned almost everything myself (except con hacking).. I suggest you do the same images/icons/smile.gif

I'm currently on Frame 51, i've been working my ass off, heh.Anyway, i found a better way to do the artwork, instead of pixel by pixel, i use different techniques to do it.It's MUCH faster, and it looks more realistic (E.g You can see duke's muscles bulging out of his sleeves and stuff. You'll see what i mean "When it's done" images/icons/tongue.gif

I do some computer game programming; at some point in the future, I'll need to find someone who can do a lot of animation frames and level art, mostly for platform and top-down games. (And someone who's willing to work for free!)

If you're interested, you can send an E-Mail to "artjob at michrev dot com". (But not until you "finish this". I'll probably want to try out that TC, WID.)

(I actually feel kind of guilty posting something like this on a 3dRealms forum. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm trying to take business away from them! I may need their help later anyway with multiplayer code.)

StevenRoy I think the games that can be found today don't have artists who do their models/characters pixel by pixel.. it would just not be good enough.. or well for simple platforms.. dunno.
