While playing around on duke nukem3d i foun some numbers etched in a couple of places.

The second one was in a secret compartment behind where you pick up the pipe bombs on episode2, level 2

in the first shot, 8675309 is a phone number from a song called "Jenny" I believe.

The first numbers are from a song...
<table><tr><th><font size="-1">Spoiler below:</font></th></tr><tr><td class="spoiler"> in fact, there is another secret in that level... in the toilet where the alien trooper is sitting, there is an e-mail address http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif </td></tr></table>
This has been discussed before... don't know what the name of that thread was though... http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/redface.gif

I know about that other secret.
The other is a George Lucas reference. His movie was called THX-1138, and the numbers 1138 have appeared in some form in the Star Wars movies.

I didn't hear of THX-1138 until a year ago. Never saw it, and wonder when did he make it? Probably one of his first, but I never heard of it until they made the dvd or something.
Yeah, it was before American Graffiti. 1971.
