Could you give me some tips to put in my new level? If one of you have a site I am asking: would you set it in the downloads?

Give the map a name that invokes pornographic imagery. It could be completely crap but people would still download it.

Go all out in originallity. Download a lot of maps made by other people. Use their ideas and change them up a lot. Alway try to make each room useful and unique. Keep trying to come up with ideas that no one has tried before. Start with a theme for your level and follow the theme all the way through (or not). In build you can only do so many things. In my opinion it is not what you do but how you do it.
In essence, instead of one wall on each side, you have 3 or four or however many you want. Slope them, mask them, give them different heights, or make a really tricky door. An easier way to explain this would be:
Make stairs against the wall that go to nowhere, then change the steps up by one of the ways hinted above.
A cool door effect you could use is a combination door. Make a door that rises from floor to ceiling, vice versa, star trek doors, swinging doors all in one. With a switch and se you can time them just right and make it look cool.
I am trying this effect, above, on my level.
If you think on the lines of this, keeping it simple but making it look new and cool, you should have yourself a pretty cool level.
There are many simple things you can do that no one else has thought of that can give your map a felling of coolness.

I`m making a TC. All my levels are origional.
The first episodes feture a reality altering machien so I can explore and use build bugs to my advantage images/icons/smile.gif
The second is on a floating island
The third (not origional) is pig cops from LA attack NY
The fourth is a plain space episoad with a new boss.

To get on my site your map has to score around 50 - 100%.. most of the time I only review maps better than 70% because I dont like to spend time on bad maps. The maps you send me would problably get a score of like 15% since there's something like enemies.. a door and stuff images/icons/smile.gif But well.. with every map you make you'll get a little better and learn a little more so mostly with newbies it goes like this:
Map 1: 10 - 20%
Map 2: 20 - 25%
Map 3: 50 - 60%
Map 4: 70 - 80%
Map 5: 80+
etc..
Although this is (of course) not for everyone.. think of a mapper as Alejandro.. Bob Averill etc. I think my first map would have scored between 50 and 60% but if I look back on it I'm ROFLING like hell images/icons/smile.gif

Tips for your map (if you really don't have your own fantasy):
- Swimming-pool with transparent water.
- A ghetto images/icons/smile.gif
- An old city with trash everywhere.. empty streets.. all abandoned.
- A door.
- A starting point.
- A lonely sector effector.
- And Liztroop-poo all over the place.
But really.. I think everyone can think of something for their maps..

A little info about the map and KEF. It is not streets what I am talking about. Its a new and wil soon be finished. Please check this topic again over a week or something. Now over the map. Its a city. Much of streets. Much of hotelrooms...It is actually meant as a single play map. I ain't set some starting positions for a dukematch...Ofcourse I wil make an episode because in the hotel there are some posters of "Tonight , HOT,HOT,HOT!" In the second level it shal be evening. The bleu card isn't so hard to find. It is only good hided images/icons/smile.gif hihihi.
