The other day I was checking my account in IGN and I was checking to see if there was any new news in the Duke Nukem universe when in to game profile is said that the game was canned for PS2, and PC. However a couple of days afterwards they updated the PC game profile and took out canceled but if you go to

you can still find the gist of what they said when the wrote the PC profile. This has been a game that I have been watching since it was annouced; except for the original trailer there hasnt been one word annouced on the actual game. Speculations has been flying about it being vaporware please George show at least something new. A logo, a clip, a sketch maybe just give us fans something to hold on to!!!!

The game is not cancelled. If you watch this forum you will notice George gives out info on occation.

Edit: The site is confuzing Duke Nukem Forever with Duke Nukem D-Day. Duke Nukem D-Day was going to be a PS2 only game.

I have never been registered in these forums, I am just reporting what I saw http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif and both profiles were written almost the same.

DNF is not cancelled, otherwise all of George's postings would make 3D Realms look like a candidate for being a nut house.

DNF is alive (though to us it is almost like pigcops rooting around in our heads, being mowed down by the chaingun). Over the past few months, there's been more activity, and some blurbs. Though it's not much it's something to go by....

Unless it's the horses mouth speaking this info, it's of no use to worry about it.

To end, nothing happened, public paranoia has been adverted.

No need for us to post on about this.

I see now.

Well Duke Nukem D-Day was in fact cancelled. It was az PS2 game where Duke went back in time and was a key factor in all the major WW2 events, and helped turn the tide. Of course it was a kind of alternate reality and there were alien Nazi's. I wish that game had worked out because it would have been among the very first WW2 games to come out, before you saw one a week.

So, that's what D-Day was. That IGN link now is wrong.

Duke 4/DNF etc willnot be on PS2.

Duke Nukem Forever (pc and next gen consoles) is alive ane well.

You know, I'm trying very hard but I can't picture Duke in WWII... Seems bizarre and out of place.

Just out of curiosity george or joe, why was d day canceled. I mean I loved TTK and LOB and it was being made by the same developer. I guess it just wasn't going well, or what happened?

Interesting you mention next gen consoles. The sticky still says not to talk about this and a thread on it was deleted only the other day yet what you say there sounds like it's a definite for next gen consoles.
