sorry if this has been asked, but i cant get the game to run in vesa/svga mode. I turn it to 800x600 resolution, and the game doesnt start up and my video card comes up with an error. It works fine on my older computer, but the new one doesnt support those modes i guess. anyone know how to fix this?

thanks

You can avoid all that stuff by downloading JonoF's port.

Better yet, get the Parkar file which contains the JFDuke port but is a package that give you HIRES video with the installation. Get it here http://www.planetduke.com/hrp/

thanks, that works awesome. I downloaded the light version, just because the download was so much less and it looks awesome, im not sure how the bigger one could look any better. The only thing now is i would like to play a network game with other people in my house. does anyone have a link, or easily explain how to do that? sorry for my ignorance on this stuff

thanks again

There should be a txt file with instructions in the directory you placed the port/hires pack into, that explains it.
