New sectors becoming blocked--can't unblock

Whenever I create a new sector by another one; insert 2 points; and join the sectors a purple line automatically appears. This means that I can't walk there.

I go into 3D Mode (and also tried 2D) and press 'B' and it doesn't go away.

Any help to prevent/fix this is appreciated.

If a new sector becomes blocked it's because the existing lines are already blocking. However I don't know why you can't unblock it... (???)

In 2D mode, if there are some sprites near your sector, the 'B' key will affect one of them instead of any wall. Remove the grid ('G' several times) and the 'B' key won't operate on sprites anymore.

Well, during I'm on this topic:

sometimes, if I make a sector in a sector, the lines of that sector become purple...! And if I make masked wall, it is glass!

I can unblock it, but its a little strange...
