I know, it´s rather annoying if I post this here right now but I haven`t found any suitable docs or tutorials for Eduke yet. Of course I´ve been on the Eduke page, but there´s nothing like a tutorial or something else. And since I dunno were RTCM ´s hiding right now (or is it gone already), I can´t proceed with EDuke coding, because of the lack of knowledge. images/icons/frown.gif

Ok for all of those who don't know:

Eduke is an enhanced version of Duke nukem (Eduke= Enhanced Duke Nukem 3D. DUH...) Eduke has better programing so you can make very intresting and fun changes to the game that you could not normally make. (Like having more weapons, better graphics, better helper bots, and enhanced A.I.) The man who is working on it is Matt Saettler. Eduke 2.0 is out but has trouble working in Duke 3D Atomic 1.4-1.5. Progress is really slow for Eduke 2.1 because he is the only one working on it. And is pretty much the only Non 3DR member allowed to see Duke's main programing. And with the progress it has now, DNF is going to come out before Eduke 2.1 does. images/icons/frown.gif Zilla, im not shure about this but very few completed TC's that use Eduke have been released. So theres not a whole lot of info about it. Netnessie, beeing a noob is not a bad thing..... And are you gona make any more levels fakirbaba? Your level was very good. I played it the first day it came out! images/icons/grin.gif

But when someone makes a EdukeMod isn't it a pain in the bum bum to like, first install a clean copy of duke etc. and then download eduke and all.?.. That's why i don't care much about it images/icons/tongue.gif

It's only the INSTALLER that requires unmodified files (copyright thing, sigh, it could have just checked for the CD), once it's installed it's only EDUKE.EXE that's actually required to run EDUKE stuff (with the other game files of course).
