I remember. Of course. I still have the entire Nintendo Power run from issue 1 to 120. Ahh....back when I actually used to LIKE gaming magazines. This and the Interaction magazine (sierra online based) were my favs. Now everything sucks and is full of ads and buzz.....

Yeah I used to get Nintendo power. Then I got to thinking that it was owned by Nintendo. Then I noticed all the games got good scores and the only the worst got the slightest criticism. Then Donkey Kong 64 sucked. Then I stopped getting Nintendo Power. Then I didn't buy a Gamecube.

I was only with nintendo power during the NES years. I didn't read for the reviews...hell, it didn't matter since I wasn't the one getting the games http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif I just liked the magazine's style and mini guides and such.....

Yeah, the strategy and cheats were always good and it was still entertaining, the main reason I stopped liking it was 'cause I was losing interest in consoles rapidly as my interest in computers was taking off.

I remember those comics from way back back when I had a subscription to Nintendo Power. Has anyone ever played Nesters Bowling for the Virtual Boy? I think that was the only Nintendo game the character ever appeared in.
