graemlins/doh.gif You can't add new episodes. You can change the names of them in 1.4/1.5 but you can't add episodes (that stuff is hard coded).

You know, Eduard, if I really wanted to know what you said I could waste my time translating it myself but I've got better things to do than to translate insults. In answer to your question, I've been mapping for a long time, just never had internet access 'till a couple of years ago, so just about everything I learned was on my own. I don't claim to be a smart ass and know everything but I think everyone's suggestions in this or any forum are worth a grain of thought (unless they are wise cracks as I have experienced here and there, of which I generally ignore.) I have been reading your posts and answers for a while now and consider you to be a pretty experienced builder but I would seriously consider how you introduce yourself to strangers in that the next guy you insult may just be someone you would have rather been friends with. That being said I hope we can at least all be civil and tolerate each other if not be friendly and helpful. I will put this aside and go on...

I didn't know that Borg Nukem ran without Duke, or did I get that wrong? graemlins/dopefish.gif

Oh, and I tried to add my own episode back in '96(?), so I knew that also (reference to Kef's statement.) I still plan to finish it but have too much to do that has nothing to do with Duke. graemlins/wid.gif images/icons/cool.gif images/icons/wink.gif

The guy was on his own, and the TC was a hammer.
By the way: I'll set up a TC-site real soon. It'll be called "Project: Zombie Smackers".

yes, of course. the evidence speaks that he's a newbie (that 5th episode-thingy). I think nobody started as a pro. Aah, when I remember those days when I started building... my maps looked like mixed pickles. And my first coded .con messed up nearly the whole game. I had enemies 40 feet tall shooting nuclear missiles. They replaced the pigcops. The chances to survive were zero.... images/icons/smile.gif yeah, this was f*cking crap...

hey, I'm not gonna make any tc or anything, that message is months old! btw, that metro crap is f|_|cking i know, but at least it was one of the first maps i made, i made it 1 week after i bought Duke. not even the best mappers didn't start as good as they are now.

(In a few weeks or so I'm gonna add something REAL AWESOME to my site: the first map i made ever! (geuss what it contains, only 1 sector(didn't know how to split them) and the tile#001 EVERYWHERE + not even 1 sector or sprite with a TAG ! Now that sucks!))

And, yes, I hope my slower-than-hell pace isn't cause for you to just dump me but besides being really busy I have been having creative probs with the wallpaper (I don't want to just do what everybody else is doing.) I'm also really really ill and things just seem to go very slow with me lately (and I'll head all the wisecrackers off at the pass and say sick, but NOT in the head , haha. ...But really, I wanted to add my "Reclaiming Trenton" series as a fifth episode back in '96(?) and ran across all the same poop that you are now. I guess it'll have to replace an old one unless EDuke has some sort of trick to it. I've been holding off on EDuke because it gives a pre-install message about changing Duke3d and I'm not sure what it means. Anybody? Thanx. images/icons/cool.gif
