Band Website - need opinions

Rightio Ladies,

Just spent the last three quarters of an hour designing this draft, being a draft I'm looking for critique on the colours and the layout. A small band in Auz, plays mostly Metal and Rock, but also does other things like jazz and even funk. Any opinions?

Looks very nice, I only miss the bandname/logo at the top.

Generally good job, better than I expected.

Personal nitpick
- serif font, too much. I at least wouldn't use it for the main text. Fine for date and headers, but maybe a point bigger. I'd also prefer a sans serif font for the navigation

Crits
- there's no title treatment that tells me who/what I'm visiting a website about.
- the right column's bold header text should be a different color than the content text inside the column
- navigation - bolder font, point or 2 bigger maybe
