No there is not. Max Payne is surprisingly "un"gory. The most you'll see is a slight misty spray of blood from an enemy when he's shot.

Yeah Max Payne is one of the most realalistic games made. It is very bloody but it feels like the real world in that sense. The part the is kind of iffy is with the use of grenades.

what happens with the grenades then?

I'd say that the 'gore' in Max Payne is stylised. Shoot someone and you'll see a spray of blood, but there are no wounds on any of the bodies and all the limbs stay attached images/icons/smile.gif

Grenades don't bounce realistically. No big deal though images/icons/smile.gif

Thanks a lot. I just hate those games where you through a rock at a guys hand and his head hits the floor and blows up. images/icons/smile.gif

Someone please tell me, is there any really gorey stuff (hands, arms, legs, or heads falling off etc. ) in MP? Because sometimes that kind of ruins the game for me because it is so unrealistic.

how do you know it's realistic?? have you been on a killing rampage? The deaths are movie like.. which is what the angle on max payne is.. an interactive action movie...... right?

The gore factor is as 'realistic' as in any John Woo film. It is not realistic as in real life.
