Forums are FORUMS! Why don't you all just post in the 3DR forums? They're the best, and you can never get near to being as good as them!

You can, get urself a bunch of fans, domains and make sure you have tons of content in ur site. Altho, I don't like signing up on every forum I see...

Some of them are own creation, some other ones that I got from somewhere (don't ask me images/icons/tongue.gif ) and the logo was made by Kuffi (altough I'm gonna change the header since it doesn't fit with this new design)

I think the 3DR and AMC forums are still enough- they're just the none-plus-ultra. Everything you could discuss about general Duke3d and BUILD stuff can be discussed there. Okay, i'm gonna open a forum on the PTC-Site (visit http://mitglied.lycos.de/ddeath for first impressions images/icons/wink.gif ) as well, but it will be PTC-specific. Know what I mean? In my opinion, the possible knowledge that a forum can contain should not be scattered around. Keep it in one place.

What really confuses me is why the communities want to fraction themselves by having so many forums. Wouldn't be more effective to have it located in one place?

Like this place? I don't really CARE that it's here, it's not like we made advertising money by drawing people here. It's just that splitting everyone over multiple places seems counter productive.

ehm well there are a few things i want to say about all yer posts, lycos does suck but it does provide lots and lots of storage space and supports php. and Joe I think that that DoomedSpaceMarine is right somehow images/icons/grin.gif people want power and people get it graemlins/mryuck.gif Besides, this Build help forum is dieing since noone really goes to it anymore, they all go to EUDH Forums or amc or WSYC (kef stopped duking images/icons/frown.gif ) or whatever site you may wish. sad isn't it to see such good games dieing of? people like me and others try to keep these good games alive by making new sites and inspiring people with new Build ideas but without others succes is far from near... I hope that when DNF will come not everyone will suddenly stop Duke3d-ing and start DNF how well it is a better game. But the fun of Duke Nukem 3D will not be able to be made again in DNF because the people there are only interested in making money and good graphics. Times now aren't like they used to be.....
