It would be nice if someone ported the changes made to kenbuild in Mapster to the icculus sourcebase. Then, one could have native win32 build with all the mapster refinements.
I can make a delta from kenbuild > mapsrc, but I don't know enough about coding to integrate the changes into the icculus base.

Anyway, just an idea I had.

It's also an idea I went over with icculus over a year ago.. never happened, unfortunately. My code was rather messy, and it gave me a headache just porting 1/20th of it.

Someday, perhaps. I still have a copy of the compiler and of the code he snailmailed me.

TerminiX, is there a list of the features that you put in to mapster? Perhaps reimplimenting the features from scratch would be easier than porting. (I'm not saying that YOU should do it, I'm just wondering what all you put into mapster.)

You're nuts if you expect me to remember everything I added to the BUILD code. images/icons/tongue.gif

It was, what, two years ago? Heh.

Well somebody never bothered commenting their code. images/icons/smile.gif
