Dreadfully sorry, but in other posts I seemed to read that Mapster did work under WinXP, and seeing as how Mapster gave the same errors, I thought I'd have a go and post anyway.
Sorry to have caused any inconvenience

Today I've dusted off my old copy of duke nukem and installed it (read: copied everything to my HD).
To my surprise everything still worked fine, except for build. It starts up, I can draw a room with mouse and spacebar but when I press Num-enter it sais 'Highlighted points checked' instead of going to 3D-mode, same thing with Return.
Also, when I try to load a map I can't move up or down in the list, so my guess is arrow keys don't work either.
I am not gonna say I am a pc expert (even tho I am, sorta) cos that'll only make me look more stupid when the solution turns out to be something silly.
I'm running WinXP with a USB keyboard that's plugged into PS-2 with a converter, I've checked language settings of the keyboard under windows, they are set to US.
Hope you can help,
BamBam

Actually, the later versions of Mapster fixed the keyboard code.
