i have a new problem , my eduke dont run but i sayd

Compiling: 'EDUKE.CON'.
* ERROR!(L32) Symbol '' is a key word.
* ERROR!(L32) Parameter '16' is undefined.
* ERROR!(L32) Expecting key word, but found '/'.
* ERROR!(L32) Expecting key word, but found 'For'.
* ERROR!(L32) Expecting key word, but found 'BUILD16'.
* ERROR!(L32) Expecting key word, but found 'and'.
* ERROR!(L32) Expecting key word, but found 'above'.
* ERROR!(L32) Expecting key word, but found '*ONLY*'............
for user.com and another file it sayd some error
these files dont got error ! why it bug ?

Okay... attempting to unravel that unsyntatical list of symbols...

As far as I can tell for some reason you've modified the comments after the version primitive (the comments refer to a primitive used to indicate the build of Eduke the CONs are compatable with). There needs to be // to indicate a single line comment.

Futher to that you're asking me to guess on God knows what you've done to the CON files.

yes but i have just reinstall eduke i didnt change anyting in this images/icons/frown.gif and i tryed to clear all and install thins again it fing forever some error

You are actually running the eduke exe and not the duke3d exe?

lol , yes i run eduke.exe but i have duke nukem 1.7
and i got the special version of eduke.

there is no duke3d 1.7 only 1.3d 1.4 and 1.5 everything else is a fraud so i gues you riped it somewere (if it says 1.7 that is)

That won't help - they'll be the same files.
