View Full Version : 'Saving' conditional formatting in Excel?

I'm playing X:COM UFO Defense, and since the game basically requires me to closely pick the quality of my soldiers, I've been using excel in combo with a trainer so that I can see how good a bunch of recruits are.

Now, I know I can use Conditional Formatting to make certain fields chance colors (for ease of usage). The problem is, I'm not sure how to 'save' these criteria so I don't have to punch the conditions in every single frickin' time I load a new spreadsheet.

Is there any way to do this? Some sort of macro or style I can save?

Make a sheet with the formatting you want but no data, then save it as a template. You can then use that to open a ready-made sheet with the formatting, and can enter your data onto it http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
