Doom 3 theme song question...

I was just listening to the title music from Doom 3 (downloaded it from fileplanet) and about half way through... I thought i heard someone wispering in the background.

You're not talking about the end-breakdown part with the abrupt percussion + guitar chords, theres some kinda whispering but it goes along with the percussion kinda, and not really a background, hidden thing.

I have the TRUE .ogg file extracted from the pk4 file of doom 3, so it's the one you hear on the menu, and I hear nothing.

btw: are nine inch nails the ones that also made the quake OST? and who did the 2 mission pack OST? and quake 2? and the 2 mission packs of quake 2 OST? and quake 3 OST?

NIN did the Quake OST (and sounds?). Don't know about mission packs. Quake 2 OST was done by Sonic Mayhem, I think. Quake 3 OST I don't know.

By the way, was Trent's theme song in the leaked alpha or anywhere else (besideds old trailers)? I downloaded those supposedly released by Trent sounds (which are totally kick-ass) but there was no theme song, which is waaay better than Vrenna's. IMO.

It's about halfway through the song. at around the 1 minute 10 seconds mark or so.
