I'm just getting into EDuke and or Mapster.
To start off, i"ve looked at some sites looking for the limitations of iether one and can't find them.
What i would like to know is the MAX. sectors and walls. I thought the sectors max was more than 1024.

Whilst both programs can have higher limits curently neither do - there is no point in Mapster having higher limits until Eduke does.

It'd be nice if someone continued EDuke where Matt left off. I think the odds of that happening are slim to none.

It would require 3DR allowing someone else to use the source code that Matteus has and release it - seems unlikely at best.

You seem to know C++ pretty well, Cyborg... Any interest? images/icons/wink.gif

Yeah but personally I don't like the structure of Matteus con extensions - although it would be helpful to see how he did them I have my own ideas about that.

First, Matt is busy with his real life and spends little time online. Second, Matt was given the duke source before the release to GPL, so it might not fall under the licensing agreement and he'd be under no obligation to make the source available.

I downloaded mapster 0.40 (latest) but I get the same keyboard problem as build has. Any suggestions? I'm using Windows XP Professional.
