Need more help moving to next level

I presume all of the following.

You are using the # 32767 for the lotag on the nuke button.

That your maps are in the Duke directory (or folder).

You need to start duke3d normally, not as a user level, if you are naming your maps E1L1,E1L2, etch. This i am sure of. images/icons/grin.gif

so i have been able to go from level to level by naming the levels E#L# and setting the lo-tag of a nuke button to its own level number. however, no matter which level i start in, then next level that the program looks for is E1L9. so after i hit the nuke button in my first level, E1L1 (lo-tag 1), it gives me the stats screen and then when i press any key it shuts down the program and says error, could not find E1L9. why won't it go to E1L2. it even looks for E1L9 when i start in E2L1. if i name a level E1L9 it goes to that one and then progresses but after E1L11 it brings me to the red light disrict. how do i get to E1L2 from E1L1 and progress through to E1L10??? also, is there any limit on number of episodes like the is on number of levels within an episode?

ding bat- thanks for the tip. starting duke normally worked. however, this leads to a few more questions- am i limited to 3 episodes because i only have 3 to choose from (la meltdown, etc)? if i wanted to have an E4 series, how would i access it? also, would prefer to have the gun holstered at all times and not come up when subjects open the nuke button, how could i do this?

if u are using the 1.3 version of duke nukem 3d you are limited to 3 episodes, the 1,4 and 1.5 versions (atomic edition) have a fourth episode.
