Is there a Windows 95 (or Win32) version of Build? My build doesn't work on Windows XP because it's DOS, the keys are messed up. I tried kens NOLFB thing but thats only for hi-res which works fine.

Something that's currently being developed you may want to look into:

the only problem with that build is

' (postraphy) key doesn't work in 3D mode for example ' + H to set a hitag or ' + T to set a lotag.

ALT key tries to access a menu but fails so that prevents inserting hitags/lotags on 2D mode.

Pressing F12 makes the program end.
Using ESC key on 2D mode, fullscreen doesnt show the menu items ( Save <A>s <L>oad etc etc) but the actual A, L, S, etc keys do work and ESC works to exit menu.

Setting floor/celing palettes causes a crash on 3D mode.

F1 doesn't display the help menus (2D and 3D mode).

TAB doesn't display the info of a copied item (3D mode).

About the crashes, I cannot send error information as there is too much for a screen dump and Windows XP does not allow copying the text.

This isn't a bug but a suggestion, please allow the mouse to move faster images/icons/grin.gif I like fast mouse movement.

Well I got most of the thing to work including the menu, however when I look in the texture list all I get is a few ones like 30 of them. SO im missing 5000 other textures which is kinda bad images/icons/blush.gif

You gotta press V twice for all the textures images/icons/wink.gif or are you doing that?

I have sent a bug report to the developer and most of those problems are fixed, theres only 1 outstanding problem now which is the program "ends" when enemies appear in 3D mode. Might be anything that animates, I havent tested it on normal textures yet, will do soon. Also, something to change the screen brightness would be nice because I'm on 1280 x 960 screen with a light desktop background so it makes it hard to see sometimes images/icons/grin.gif

Also he put my name and a thanks to me on the changelog images/icons/smile.gif

probably the art files arent there, if you open command prompt or ms dos, whatever then goto the duke3d directory and type

kextract.exe duke3d.grp *.art

it will extract all the art files.
