If you dont know who Kenneth Scott is, shame on you. Here he discusses using ZBrush, but more interesting is that theres a couple of pics of stuff that didnt make it into Doom3
as well as some pics of the high poly versions of Dr McNeil and the Bruiser. Awsome looking stuff. The guy is a brilliant artist.

The abandoned creature looks awesome.

Shame it was cut.

Actually whats worse is the other great creature that was cut - which wasn't even mentioned or shown in that review was the brain creatures that had spider machine legs, I was really looking forward to them and I don't know why they were cut, they were my favourite creatures in Doom. Oh well, I just learned what zbrush is and how talented Kenneth Scott is... I wish had some talents suitable for game development I would love to work in the gaming industry. It just seems so fun.

I've heard that ZBrush has the tendency to strip its users of all will to live. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/redface.gif

His designs there don't strike me as very...well, scary. I dunno, they look like muscle bound cyborgs, not demons.

Yeah, I always thought they were going more after the bad-ass approach than the creepy approach.
