um getting FPS mod to work !?

um I downloaded a mod called FPS mod for max payne 2, and it lets you play the game in first-person.. can anyone who has it please tell me how I use it?
The "read me" sais Im just supposed to put the file in my max payne directory, but it doesnt make the game first-person.. is there some console command or something that I have to use?

You need to pick the mod in the drop down menu when you start the game.

Which mod is it exactly? I could not make the handgun mod work.

I dont know really, it sais nothing of who the author is in the read me.. I think I downloaded it at www.levels4you.com (http://www.levels4you.com)
