Help in installing the duke 3d error throw

hi all,
I got the duke3d original and last time i install the duke3d it works on windows 98 and recently i upgrade my hardware and also the os to windows 2000 professional and i install duke 3d on the recently upgraded pc. I tried to run the duke3d.exe it throws this error "Sound Blaster" cannot be detected. The duke3d.exe does not run. What should I Do?
. This is the error i recieve when i run the duke.exe in command prompt:

Are you using original driver for Sound Blaster?
I had the same problem without original driver.
Othe reason non-compabitability (maybe wrong).
Try choosing no sound in setup.

i dun get really what u mean in no sound in setup . sorry my pc knowledge is minimal

You must have run the program before - I don't really get your problem understanding.

If you've been copying a duke3d.cfg around then well, images/icons/rolleyes.gif

i tried u solution it does not work for me can i know what will be the recommended sound driver to install for duke3d ? I would like to try this method see it works. I am running on Windows 2000.
