I've just put up a topic in the NS forum regarding the moving sectors for turrets and cars/tanks etc

Have you looked at the SE5 mover/turret thingy in the original Duke 3D game? Any idea what that was going to be? (I'm too lazy to look through the source code)

It is impossible to shoot yourself using this thing, if only its moving can be stopped somehow it will be a good Firelaser turret.

I've played around with in within Build, but I did never get anything usefull,,,

One of the problems with it is, that the firelaser is made to shoot at the player at all times,,, This means, that the vertical angle is alligned to the players pos.

Now we can just hope they fix 2.1 for complete projectile control under con.

By the way, Idea of rotating turrets was greatly implemented in Blood. see level BB6 for bloodbath.
