Just letting y'all know that after two years I am finally releasing my Duke Nukem 3D levels, due to the fact that I have finally updated my website and because, well, I simply have to move on.
The site is new, so expect some teething problems here and there, otherwise everything else seems to be ok. And ignore the ads...
Send all feedback to it761@wintec.ac.nz.

I thought you guys might find them easy. I deliberately made them easy by adding a fair amount of ammo and health. images/icons/wink.gif . Better to have a map with plenty of ammo than with hardly any I say. images/icons/tongue.gif
The Dukematch maps are deliberately simple, although I must admit I made them rather large for 2 to 3 players. images/icons/confused.gif
There are a lot of things that probably need a little more work, but because I want to move on to other games not to mention the little time I had to work on them... images/icons/smile.gif

Although I gotta admit I spent heaps of time on architecture and shading (especially shading).

(I keep sending replies without finishing what I have to say, that's one slap across the face for me)
Let me know how many secrets you have found and how fast you can finish each level!

You may find it to be easy if you load each level via the command line (which defaults to the 'Let's Rock' setting, but I forgot to mention in the included help file that it replaces Episode 2. Run it by running Duke3D directly and select Operation Blitzkrieg from the episode menu instead.
Sorry about that. graemlins/doh.gif graemlins/doh.gif graemlins/brickwall.gif graemlins/brickwall.gif

played em last night, fun but a bit easy. the multyplayer maps felt a bit confusing and empty but had some neat stuff in em ( like the teleporters on the space map )

i can, clik on the DN thinghy images/icons/smile.gif
I just played all of your maps, jimbob. they where very enjoyable! although I didnt finish meltdown yet. I think i got stuck images/icons/tongue.gif
And I found a glich on the medevil level. one of the door's textures are skrewed up - aside from that, they where really fun. images/icons/wink.gif
EDIT: at the begining of meltdown, it would have been much better if you gave the raindrops a hitag of one and put a music&sfx sprite somwhere with the rain sound.

giving the raindrops a hitag of one disables the driping sound (like on E4L1)
I am stuck on the part where you walk into some slope and all these explosions go of in your face - then you keep hearing more and more explosions every now and then - they never seem to stop...

on the botom of that shaft there is an platform, on the platform there is the red key, get it before the shit hits the fan images/icons/grin.gif so when entering that room run like hell images/icons/grin.gif if you miss the key there is no way of completing the map without cheating.
i might look into the dripping stuff images/icons/grin.gif
oooh, ok. I guess ill restart then.

ok, little hint. the touchplate before the shaft is located right after the sign on the cieling. if you touch it you`d better be quick images/icons/grin.gif it is possible to run down grab the card and run back up without getting hurt.
and some things afterwards are time triggered so if your lost check rooms you already visited and see if something has changed. and sometimes you need to cross the line images/icons/wink.gif there is also a nice little suprice when you fall down into the pit but you`ll notice it once you get there images/icons/grin.gif have fun
w00t, I beat it! that was a good map, I loved the "little suprise" images/icons/grin.gif

no, there is a special sound to simulate rain. play my maps to see how it shouldnt have been done and play the e4m1 map to see how it should be done images/icons/smile.gif
Yea, The driping sound is kinda good but it doesn't sound as good when mixed the rain ambience.

I sure know how to do rain effect! My 'previous' map had rain effect. It was my first 'real' map.
I dont have any released 'real' maps... images/icons/frown.gif I only have this one that scored horribly at MSDN. images/icons/tongue.gif
I am currently working on two other maps that will be longer and have better design. images/icons/grin.gif

Heh, my first level at MSDN scored 68! Your map had nice cycler effects, I learned how to use cyclers some time ago.
ooooh, you where the author of death?
I havn't played that one yet. I think I'll play it after I finish all of the other unfinished maps I have in my "duke3d maps" directory.

Yes I am the author of "Death" my second map (available at MSDN too) scored 86. Known as ARSP1, and it can be found at "Hot Maps" try it, it is at least ten times better than Death, it is bit short, but it offers a lot of action!
Death is prison level, those times when it was released, I didn't care much about details, shadows, etc. Only thing I focused on was the "best" possible gameplay.
